Robin was a wife, mother, daughter, sister aunt and most of all a loving person to to us all. This more then anything is what we want people to remember her for. She had so much love for her family and she cherished all the times we spent together. She held family above everything and we will never forget how much she truly brought us together.

Robin passed away earlier this year due to a ruptured aneurysm and AVM. This is why we chose this cause. We hope that the proceeds from this will go to help find better diagnostic tools and procedures to prevent or fix these afflictions. Contribute to The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation

What is your mission?

TAAF is dedicated to bettering the lives, support networks, and medical care of those affected by aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain.
How are donations used?

In support of that mission, we have three primary goals that guide foundation activities:

Provide support, including information, resources and motivation, for people with aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain, their families, caregivers and friends.
Promote education and awareness in the community regarding aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain.
Provide encouragement and funding for research on aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain in an effort to advance patient treatment and care.
What can be done with a $100 donation?

You can be part of a legacy of love as we support the greater aneurysm and AVM community with 1on1 assistance, vetted information, second opinions, and through annual research grants.

What is the history of your organization?

The Aneurysm Foundation (TAF) was established by the Kaitz family in 2003 in honor of family members who lived with, or died from, brain aneurysms. The Kaitz family was astonished by the lack of public awareness and under-support of research of such a widespread and often fatal condition. Through TAF the family launched a crusade to educate and encourage awareness about brain aneurysms.

In 2005 a group of medical professionals, survivors and caregivers briefly formed the Foundation for Brain Aneurysm and Vascular Malformations. The primary focus was to provide motivational and other educational resources to the patient and caregiver community, and to increase public awareness.

With similar visions and complementary goals, these foundations merged to expand The Aneurysm Foundation into the present day foundation now known as ‘The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation’ (TAAF).

Today TAAF focuses on public awareness, furthering research, and fostering a community of support for those affected by aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain.
