Chuck and I first met Robin when my brother brought her to our annual Christmas gathering. Such a sweet beautiful young girl. My brother told me in a moment of privacy he was going to marry her. Robin held her own with our loud, boisterous family. She was loved. Robin gave Chuck and I the greatest gift of all - our niece, Leia. Robin has now traveled to an afterlife filled with grace and peace. Sleep well, dear Robin, you deserve it.

As I sit here trying to think of a profound and comforting thing to say, I have no words. My Mom was my best friend. She was the life of the party . She was a ride or die for her friends and someone you could call for a good time…or to throw down if needed. She would rather thrift than shop, a beer and a bonfire over any fancy restaurant and she cares about you with her whole heart. She loved unconditionally. To say i will miss her is an understatement.
If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
