Robin Leola Hill was born on August 8, 1957 in Chicago, IL to the late Robert L. Hill Sr. and Annie Kate Hill. She accepted Christ at a early age at Presentation Catholic Church in Chicago, Il. She departed this life at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA on January 29, 2023. She was 65 years old.

Robin received her formal education at St. Agatha Catholic School and Orr High School in Chicago, IL. and Decatur High School in Atlanta, GA. During the early years, Robin worked at Cook County and University Hospitals. After relocating to Atlanta, GA, she worked at Dunkin Donuts and Fountainview Center.

Robin enjoyed talking on the phone sharing stories with family and friends. She took pride in acknowledging everyone’s birthday, anniversaries, and any other special occasions. It was her goal to be the first to call or text everyone on their special day.

Robin is preceded in death by her parents Robert L. Hill Sr. and Annie Kate Hill. Two brothers Alfonso “Butch” Hill and Orlando Yates, and her beloved sister Evelyn “Cookie” Cherry.

To cherish her memory, Robin leaves two daughters, La Tanya Allen (Dwayne) and Rory Williams (Eric). Three grandchildren Jamal Walton, Asya Walton, and Dwayne Allen Jr. Two great-grandchildren Rory Walton and Khalil Scott Jr. Four brothers, Lorenzo Hill (Alice), Anthony Hill (Eujeania), Robert Hill Jr. (Safona), Gerald Hill Sr. (Zada). Her life long friend Rory Hawkins. And a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends.
