Robin's obituary
Robin was preceded in death by his brother, Hugh Douglas. He is survived by his brothers, Derek Randolph Douglas of Melbourne, Florida and Brice Lancelot Douglas of Mijas, Spain; sister, Marine Douglas Niewald of Alexandria, Virginia; niece, Amber Niewald; and nephews, Colin Niewald, Monterey Scott, Noel Douglas, and Keve Douglas.
Robin was a gentle soul and citizen of the world who traveled internationally with his family as the child of a U.S. foreign service officer. He spent most of his childhood in Tangier, Morocco, where he attended the American School of Tangier before returning to the U.S. permanently. He served in the 82nd Airbourne Division of the Army as a satellite communications specialist. He spoke multiple languages with ease and radiated charm and debonair. Through his many trials and tribulations, his sunny disposition and sense of humor inspired us. We will always remember his laughter, wit, and love of life fondly and with great love.
