Background
I will start with a prayer for Dad ...
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
We are troubled on every side ... yet not distressed; we are perplexed... but not in despair; persecuted...but not abandoned; struck down... but not destroyed. We also carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the Life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but LIFE is at WORK IN YOU.
2 Corinthians 4:7-12
What a journey life takes us through, I would of never imagined Dad's last moment's would be spent alone, cold, hungry and paying the price for the injustice he created. Today I want to say he paid his price, suffered and he is free. We have forgiven him and Mina's deepest sincere wish was that her Grandpa had repented, asked for forgiveness and accepted The Lord Jesus Christ into his heart, so that he may enter the gates of heaven to be beside her Grandma Minnie.
I am confident that he spoke to Jesus the moment it all began. I know he was sorry and I know he loved us. Most of all I know he loved Mom and was by her side til her death. I'm sorry for everyone he hurt.
I moved to Dallas area to make a better life so I could bring them with me and yet here I am with 4 children and still having to ask for help.
If you ask why should I, well I want to pay respects to The Man that gave us a beautiful life. I love you Dad and I'm sorry.
If you can find it in your hearts to help us get him home... Mina and girls wanted to give him a funeral.
