Roberta “Robbie” Ann (Chisholm) Pesce died peacefully at Sun Coast Hospice on Friday, May 26, 2023 in Saint Petersburg, Florida at the age of 80. She was born on April 18, 1943 in Lynn, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Irvine and Catherine (McGuire) Chisholm. Robbie was raised and educated in Saugus and was a graduate of Saugus High School, class of 1961. She went on to study at Bryant & Stratton where she graduated in 1963.

Robbie was devoted to her family and raised her three boys in Saugus, Massachusetts and in 1986 moved to Georgetown, Massachusetts. After her retirement, she snow birded for a few years and eventually moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where she spent the remainder of her life.

Robbie was an active member of the park community where she loved swimming in the pool, sunning, reading, gardening, spending time with family and friends and keeping score at the parks’ corn hole games. She loved the ocean and going to Caddy’s on Treasure Island.

Some of her favorite hobbies were collecting lighthouses, reading, weekends in Maine with her lifelong Saugus friends, traveling with the “cousins” and taking her grandchildren to the ocean to see sandcastles and looking for sea life among the tide pools.

Robbie is survived by her sister Claire Tilley of Florida, her former husband Edmund Pesce Sr. of Georgetown, MA, and their three sons, John R Pesce and his wife Karin of Beverly, MA, Edmund W. Pesce Jr. of Peabody, MA, and Derek M Pesce and his wife Sarah and their children Cadynce and Mason of Groveland, MA, along with several nieces and nephew.

Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time and will be held privately.
