Roberta Louise (Bobbi) Jacobsen- Brazil
Bobbi went home to her Lord on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 with her loving husband John at her side.
Bobbi was a woman of faith who loved and was well loved by her family and friends. She greeted everyone with a smile and bringing love and laughter wherever she went. She thoroughly enjoyed gathering with family, friends and playing Keno.
Bobbi had a blessed, happy life. She was born on June 10, 1942 to Frances Delores Flores and Steven Garcia in Redwood City, California. Bobbi and John were married in 1987 enjoying 35 beautiful years together, spending nearly twenty years driving truck and seeing the country together making many wonderful friends along the way. Bobbi and John retired in Mineral Wells in 2012.
Bobbi was an active member of First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells. She served on the Senior Adult Team as Team Leader, working extensively with the JOY (Just Older Youth) group in the planning and execution of activities, Bible Study, ministry and special events. Bobbi didn't know a stranger, and sincerely loved everyone.
Survivors include her husband John, children: Michael Fernandez and wife, Lisa and Jason Brazil, grandchildren: Brandon (Pauline) Maison Fernandez, and Faith and Hunter Brazil and great grandson Michael Mafna0s. Siblings Ramona Garcia, Gilbert Taijeron, Vickie Velasco, Cindy Harvey, Ken Vasquez. and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Bobbi was preceded in death by: Her parents Frances and Steven Garcia and siblings Connie Starnes, Charles Taijeron, Jr. and Bernice Cortez.
A Memorial Service will be held on May 20th at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells in Mineral Wells, Texas.
