Roberta "Big Momma" Benford gained her angel wings on April 20,2022 at her home in Jackson Tn. Roberta was 72 years old.

Roberta's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint She left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that She stayed here.
Roberta was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of culinary , an amazing grandma. Roberta, born to Dennis and Sheryl benford on March 01, 1950 at Jackson General Hospital . A member of the church from a very young age, Roberta participated in baptist at New St. Luke alongside her family members. She attended and developed her skills as a CNA.

After graduation, Roberta went on to be a CNA / health worker .

She was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others and was an integral part of of our church, New St Luke. A loyal servant to God, Roberta spent many of her hours dedicating her life to.

Now that Roberta has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Roberta’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her.

Roberta joins her loving husband (Walter Benford)in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members, including Marcus benford, Jace Benford, Taylar benford and Herman Gene Jackson Jr.

 Services are still being organized, but will be held in Jackson in the month of April. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution.
