Bob was my youngest first cousin. My sister and I were fortunate to have been close with all of our cousins, and consequently we both have memories that span all the stages of our lives. On my mother’s side of our family, I was the oldest cousin and Bob was the youngest. To me, Bob was like a babydoll to take care of, play with, and wheel around in his stroller. I remember Bob as being fun loving, innovative, and an adventurer. He was always kind, and never seemed to lose his adventurous spirit. I am grateful for his presence in my life, and he will always hold a special place in my heart.

Bob was my close first cousin. Our Moms were sisters. Being the two youngest of the cousins, we were the best of playmates as children, had so much fun together, and we were always scheming and entertaining our grandparents together. Throughout our lives, we continued to always feel a special bond. I am so saddened to have lost “Bobby” so soon. I still had planned to take up his invitation to come to Coeur d’Alene to see his beautiful surroundings that he loved. So sad that I didn’t make the trip in time. His rapid decline was such a shock. The last time I saw Bob was in Ohio in 2022. We walked around the lake at his sister Marsha’s farm together and talked like best friends, just like old times. The bond was still there. I will forever miss my dear cousin I loved so much. May Bob rest in peace.

To say I was shocked to hear of Bob’s passing is an understatement. I have so many happy memories of Bob. Although it’s been many years since I’ve seen him in person, he and Beth were dear friends of mine during an important time of my life. I remember Bob’s support as my first group leader in LSS, his quick smile, his dance moves :) and his overall helpful, loving demeanor. Sending all my love to Becki, Casey and Beth during this terrible time.
