Robert's obituary
Robert William Moore, 66, of Monroe, NY, passed unexpectedly Saturday night.
Born Wednesday, June 24th, 1959, in Ridgewood, NJ, to Brooklyn natives, Earl Theodore Moore and Arline Stewart Murray. The youngest of four, he grew-up in Park Ridge, NJ. He attended OLMA and was a 1978 graduate of Park Ridge High School. He was employed at Quackenbush Lumber for about two decades.
He came to Monroe in 1982, where he had built his home. He was a DIY-er who enjoyed building hot-rods, boats and chordophones. He was passionate about guitar from a young age, particularly electric.
He is survived by his life-partner, Robin A. Pope, of Monroe; a daughter, Heather, of Orangetown; brother Earl (Linda) of Gloucester, VA; and a sister, Arline, of Westerville, OH. Predeceased by his parents; step-mother, Nancy; and brother, Peter.
He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
Service Private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name, to the elderly Jewish widows in Israel.
