Robert "Rob" Wilkerson, 53, of Greensboro, MD, passed away on December 23, 2022 after a car accident less than half a mile from home.

Robert was born on October 16, 1969, to Hugh and Nancy Wilkerson in Cheverly, MD. Rob worked several jobs including surveying, waterman and pest control.  In 2003, he formed his own extermination company, En.Garde, Inc.  Since 2007, he worked for Caroline County, Anne Arundel County and Kent County as a correctional officer.  Rob and Kelly wed in 1996 and have two children, daughter Alexandra and son Joshua.   Robert was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Joshua, Alexandra,  and spouse Kelly Wilkerson and always tried his best to support them. Anyone who knew Robert knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Robert was predeceased by both of his parents and two older brothers.  He is survived by siblings:  Debbie (Woody) Jackson, Pam Spicknall, Bonnie (Steve) Turley, Sandy Wilkerson, Mary Wilkerson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  The family requests in lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be sent to Moore’s Funeral Home (checks) or on this website.  Viewing at Moore’s Funeral in Denton on Thursday, December 29th at 4-6 pm.  There will be a memorial/celebration of life at Moore’s Funeral on Friday, December 30th at 11 am.  Visitors may arrive an hour prior on Friday.
