Bob will be dearly missed.  He had so much love for his family and was so kind and fun.  Years ago, Bob dressed up and was the skinniest Santa we had ever seen.  For such a crazy young group of friends all in their 20’s at Wally’s house, he came to make sure we all had the best Christmas ever in his Santa suit!  Bob will always be remembered and his love will continue to shine through all the Wilbur family. Praying God will show you his love and let memories fill your mind, warm your heart and bring you peace.  Love from the Guthrie’s

My interactions with Bob were always pleasant and meaningful. My condolences. I will miss him greatly and think of him each time I go to the exercise room here in the condo.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Bob will be so missed. He was such a huge part of the lives of all of those who loved him. I pray for peace and comfort  during this difficult time.
The best Pop Pop ever!!!! So …
The best Pop Pop ever!!!! So blessed to have him as my grandpa. He was ALWAYS there to support me no matter what. I love you Pop Pop!!
Tammy, so very sorry you lost your dad.  I am sure you found comfort that you were able to be there with him and you're family throughout his fight.  Sending you hugs and love.
So sorry for your loss Tammy, David, Chis, Nancy and families… Bob always seemed to be standing steady at home plate. May you find peace and grace in the days ahead.
I remember one night at a gathering of Wilbur family kids, grandkids and their parents… I was happily included. Bob was never very talkative, but clearly enjoyed words, crosswords. I’m not exactly sure how it came up, but he proceeded to amaze me by reciting The Cremation of Sam McGee in its entirety. That is a very, very long poem! Seriously long. And Bob delivered it, stanza upon stanza with gusto, all from memory! I had not before, and haven’t since, heard him string that many words together. It sure was fun! I’ll miss his spunk, his slightly tough exterior and his soft heart!

PopPop would always come over every Sunday, we would have a great dinner with him and he would drink his famous Martini! Favorite meal was Grilled chicken, yellow potatoes and salad!
