Robert John Snippen 
May 13, 1951 – February 16, 2026

Robert John Snippen, 74, of Minnesota, passed away in Corpus Christi, TX, surrounded by family on February 16, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Born in River Falls, WI, he spent his early years in Washburn with his parents and attended Ondossagon High School.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Snippen and Jeanne Kastens, and his siblings Dennis, Diane, and David.

He is survived by his spouse, Diana Snippen; and his blended family, Alanna, George, Chrissy, Janelle, Nicole, and Brian; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Duane, Patty, Kathy, Randy, and Babette; and numerous friends who will remember his warmth, humor, and distinctive personality.

Robert had a lifelong love of the outdoors and cherished fishing trips, where he often shared stories and laughter with family. He also had a creative spirit and was an accomplished artist, leaving behind a legacy of imagination and passion for life.

The celebration of Robert’s life is tentatively scheduled for May 16, 2026, in Minnesota; time and details will be provided later.
