It's normal to  be sad when a friend/family member passes and this is true with Bob, but he lived a full life. From our trips down the Grand Canyon at sunrise to our hundreds of hikes in the Santa Catalina mountains, Bob loved the outdoors and is one reason he preferred Tucson to New York. From a father, grandfather, husband, and coach he had many friends and mentored many high school athletes he was loved by all. He will be missed.

My Beautiful friend Renee and Family first of all I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet Amazing Daddy 🙏 I will say a special Rosary for you all and keep you in my prayers. I can attest to what an Amazing person Mr. Sicilian was I just remember him being so kind to me every encounter. I first met Renee at OMOS for teen youth group, I was so shy but I chose to befriend you Amiga and I'm so glad I did, so many fun memories from there on which led to too many other fun memories years ago. Although life takes us separate ways I'll never forget seeing your parents Mr. and Mrs. Sicilian attending Mass together it was so cool to witness. I always wanted a Husband to attend Mass with which I have now thanks to God 🙏 it's the Beautiful things we remember from childhood which shape us and I'm so Blessed to have known you and your Dad Renee. My Heart breaks for you, I hope you keep in mind if you need a friend as your sister in Christ I will always be here just message me. I Loved reading Sandy's message it just warmed my Heart, I'm so glad you all are still the Best of friends it's so much needed to have friends that become Family.

God Bless you and your Family 💕

All my Love, Crystal Munoz Brown💝

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you healthy healing although it might not be easy. 🩷🩷

This is truly heartbreaking! This hurts… I know this is going to be long! There’s just too much to say. I’ll attempt to shorten. Mr. Sicilian was an amazing faithful catholic man, Dad, husband, grandpa and “lecturer”! I always thought Rene was so lucky to have such an awesome Dad! Never in my life had I seen a father/daughter duo so close. She can literally talk to him about ANYTHING! Going back to him being a lecturer. Rene’s been my best friend since abt 13yrs old & I was around Mr. Sicilian often & he was also our weightlifting teacher. Boy was that a time 🤭  I went through things in life & and he was so pleasant to speak with. I was so angry & lost when my Sister Denise passed away. I hadn’t experienced a death b4 especially not someone so close. Mr. Sicilian is an extremely knowledgeable bonafide Catholic man! He helped me through that difficult time & made me understand God & how one’s death goes & the process & what my job was! Assignment was understood Mr. Sicilian! I take all of that w/ me to this day! I could be angry, laugh or cry & he would just listen w/ zero judgement & instilled some sense into me EVERY time! He was so chill & understanding about everything & I mean everything!  As kind as he was, Mr. Sicilian was firm & meant business! He used to say my name so sweet yet w/ that tough raspy NY voice, heyyyyyy Sandy! There are so many memories that I will cherish forever! Knowing this man has been an absolute blessing & honor! Mr. Sicilian, thank you for your time, your many words of wisdom (cuz we all know how wise you are), your love & just showing up the way you do! I will forever carry & cherish all of it w/ me throughout my life! I wish I would’ve told you the impact you had on my life growing up, even after I had children! You are such an incredible man! I know you will forever live on in the hearts of many many people! To, Mrs. Sicilian, I love you & I’m praying for you! “Bob” will forever be by your side. He just loves you like that! JJ, you had an amazing Dad & now look at the amazing Daddy you are! He prepared you greatly! I just know he’s so proud of you! Rene, Rene, Rene, I’m so sorry sweetheart 💔 I love you IMMENSELY! You are the luckiest woman to have the Dad you had! I can’t imagine the pain you feel! He was your best friend! He built you for times like this love! This one’s gonna be hard tho babe. I’m here for you Nay ❤️‍🩹 Rest in Heaven Mr. Sicilian! 📿🤲🏼🙏🏼✝️🕊️

Respectfully yours,

Sandy Tapia & the ENTIRE FAMILY

Rene, I didn’t know your dad personally but I know he raise an amazing person (you). I know that he was equally amazing. Sending all the hugs and prayers of comfort and peace to you and your family. I love you sis.

Great man. Huge impact on my life and, I’m certain, countless others. All of our prayers and well wishes to you. God bless.
