Robert Leslie Shrewsbury, sometimes known as Three Eagles, died suddenly in the late afternoon on 10 December 2022 at 72 years old. He probably was an early tragedy of the flu epidemic, about three years ago, and had many problems with his lungs, heart after that initial damage, overstrain.

The only child of (divorced) Robert Leslie Shrewsbury Sr. and Thelma Lee Cox, he started as a 3 pound preemie baby. He was born at home after his mother fought a brush fire, in the middle of night, outside their home. He was kept alive in the warming oven of a wood stove. He had multiple half-siblings from both sides but was one of the youngest.

He lived several lives in one, sometimes quite literally. His childhood included living in places with no electricity, old music, self-sufficiency and even Wild West conditions. He taught himself to read and had little schooling, primary level at best. He was earning his way as an adult by the age of 11, doing all kinds of hard work and then by 14, trained to do drywall finishing and painting. Later he added metal framing, ceilings, building and other things to his skills.

He traveled, helping people where he landed/worked, researched archeology on-site in multiple countries, taught himself to write and research and became what I’d call a Baling Wire Researcher, Scientist, Writer. He made and invented equipment and research that equaled expensive forms and over time, exceeded current levels of knowledge.

He was coached by God, so perhaps God’s marvelous result was a self-taught man, who constantly studied, questioned and thought and worked toward things that would help all life.

Despite his health troubles, he had resolved to keep trying and continue.

He was preceded in death by his parents, several older half-brothers. He had five children: Harmony Rose, Elijah Holt, Terra Astraea, Cyrus Aldatanec, Vista Aurora. He was proud of their accomplishments in getting educations and being helpful in society. His marriage lasted 40 some years and was usually noted for teamwork, having “one voice”, sharing help, talent, ideas back and forth.
