KMIX Motown.  I remember my first day when I saw the parking space labeled Tour BUS and exclaimed "WE HAVE A TOUR BUS!??"   It was good to have a Boss who could laugh like that.     Then there was the semi-annual golf outing and barbee-que.  :-) And everyone's favorite, Friday Happy Hour at The Fruityard! :-) SOOO many cherished memories.  And a good guy who stood behind his friends and employees.  :-)

My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.”
I’m very sad to see such a great man pass.. you will forever hold a place in my heart ❤️

I remember hitting golf balls with my grandpa bob at the park, and the rides he’d give me and my cousins in his miata. me and him bonded most over music, he loved that i played, i remember him constantly asking how my progress was and what my plans are for the future. i wish he got the chance to see me live, but now every show i play i’ll have him on the top of my mind. love and miss you so much grandpa bob, rest easy
One thing I loved about my grandpa Bob was that he always wanted to know how I was doing, I would go over there for lunch and he always wanted to know about the new things in my life. He was such a caring person and was so lovable. I will miss him forever. I love you grandpa Bob.

I have many fond memories of his antics on air with my father David Steere at WKMI radio in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Bob and I worked together there and in Modesto. He taught me a lot. Everyone loved him.

My favorite memory of him was when he was done playing softball with the WKMI Underdogs team one afternoon, and walked right into the ‘KMI swimming pool in his full uniform- hat, cleats, baseball glove and all, without blinking an eye, just for the comedic effect. He reminded me of Chevy Chase in that way and their personalities are connected in my mind forever. Love to his family and friends.
