Robert's obituary
He was born March 3, 1930 and raised in National City, CA where he attended Sweetwater High School
Bob was married to Alice Gonzalez Salazar until her passing in 1993. Bob and Alice raised their family in Imperial Beach, CA and were proprietors of Jalisco’s Café until 1985. Bob also worked side by side with his son Bobby at Bob’s Firewood and Bonita Country Corner Florist in Bonita, CA from 1970 – 1994. Bob was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending his time at Bonita Golf Course as well as betting on the horses at the Del Mar racetrack.
He is survived by his
three children Bobby Salazar, Marlene Salazar Link and Lisa Salazar White
As well as his three granddaughters Michelle Cordova, Jeanette Chavez and Melissa Simon
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 12 noon – 4:00 PM
