Robert's obituary

Robert Robinson, 72, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on September 25, 2020 unexpectedly.

Robert was born on August 27, 1949 to Annie McCray and Roger Robinson in Morgan, GA. After graduating from Monroe High School in 1968, Robert started work and kicked off his career in the field of food services and hospitality. First starting as a cashier at McDonald's and is quickly promoted to the position of shift manager and eventually he worked in positions of store managers for Burger King and Checkers as well.

In 1987, he met Veronica Moore and they wed in 2001. Veronica writes the following: "Knowing that my husband Robert went home to the Lord and I know that He will only take the good, you gave me love and joy while we were together and all the happy days are still in my heart. I loved you then, I love you now baby and it is ok. Rest well you are still in my HEART!"

Robert was predeceased by his father (Roger) and grandmother (Daisy), his Aunt Thelma, Uncle George and his youngest son Robert.

He is survived by his children Robert Robinson, Robert Robinson, Jr, Keiana Robinson, Tamara Robinson, Brian Robinson and Terren Hammonds. Robert had the love of many grandchildren and his stepchildren Syreeta Moore and Nefatina Moore. Additionally, he was survived by his mother (Annie B. McCray), his siblings Betty Robinson, Shevia Albert (Allen), Richard Robinson (Denise), Calvin Jones, Cynthia Werner (Jim), Eddie Jones (Sharon), Steve Jones (Stephanie), Alfreda Sinclair (Edric), Penelope Ann McCray along with a host of nieces, nephews, Aunts Ella, Millie and Doris, Uncle Bobby, and numerous cousins.
