Connie and Bob always saw the best in each other. They worked as a team to solve problems. I always admired the depth of their commitment to one another. In such a beautiful partnership, Bob will be sorely missed. Yet the memories of the two, while together, should give Connie strength to endure this loss, along with Christ's blessings.
Connie has so much to offer us as well as we to her.
I will miss Bob's charm and friendly spirit. My appreciation for Connie's friendship will endure and my love for her is magnificent. Here's to sharing more time together in the future, as true friendship is a treasure not to be taken lightly!

Connie, Laquita and I remember fondly all the warm conversations we used to have with you and Bob. We wish you all of God's comfort in dealing with the yawning gap left by Bob's departure. He now has a ringside seat for the Rapture that he so frequently referred to.

Shining light and sending love.
Bob & Connie were my first friends moving to the Village’s. Lol, they probably don’t even know this and made my life easy and fun.
I love Bob’s sense of humor and interesting topics we would discuss. He made life interesting and those quick one liner jokes out of nowhere. So funny, I miss the spontaneous, belly laughs. Bob was a good card player and kept things light and fun.

We loved the opportunities we had to share with Bob and Connie. Euchre, meals together and Encore group etc. He is so missed, but we know we'll see him again. Until then, Connie, we are here for you! 💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏

Bob and Connie came several times to visit my late husband Steve and I in Dewey, Az. Food, laughter and so much love. Bob asked me if he could iron a shirt. I said " of course ". I had a big house and kept the ironing board up. I advised him that there was a bottle of lightly scented spritz to help with the wrinkles, etc.... After being downstairs for a while, I heard him coming up the stairs asking if I had an extra handbag. I asked him why. He answered with the straightest face, " that little spritz brought out my feminine side". That probably 15 years ago and I never forgot it.
Belli cugini , Connie and Gina....my heart, my love , my prayers...with you and your entire family. Bob enriched our lives so deeply and with such fun. He was filled with love, understanding and grace. I was blessed to be in his circle. God be with you all.

I’ve heard so many wonderful stories about Bob from Connie, but this is one of my favorites.
Bob and Connie were teaching in the same school. She told me that, during the summer break after they had met, she had an illness that required her to be hospitalized. Bob went to see her in the hospital and told her he was going on a multi-state bike ride. As you might know, Bob was very dedicated to physical fitness and quite an athlete all through his life.
So, he took off on his trip. While in the hospital, Connie began to receive wonderful letters from an unknown admirer. It didn’t occur to her that they were from Bob. This went on all summer long. She didn’t know that one of the reasons that he had decided to go on this solo voyage was to think about his future.
To her great surprise, when he returned from his trip, he came to visit her in the hospital and proposed!

Oh, Connie, i’m so saddened to hear about your loss of Bob. I know the two of you took such good care of each other and enjoyed the children and grandchildren and all your travels. Regretfully, I won’t be able to be there on the 24th because I will be having a 4-year memorial for Lee in Santa Barbara on February 29 and arrive out there on the 23rd. I do have plans to visit some friends in the villages in early May and maybe I can chat with you about arranging a visit at that time, if you’re available.
I am sending loving hugs to you. Barbara
