It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert W. Pruitt Jr., who left this world on October 8, 2025. Born to this life on June 16, 1981, Robert's journey on earth was one full of love, resilience, and accomplishment.

Robert Jr. was a man of passion and tenacity, he always gave his best in every task he undertook. His greatest achievements, which filled him with immense joy and pride, were his children. The lessons he left behind were simple but profound: to always keep trying until the goal has been accomplished. His spirit of perseverance will continue to inspire us.

He leaves behind a legacy of precious memories cherished by his beloved children, Chey Lynn Pruitt, Sage Marie Pruitt, Christian Pruitt, and Kai Jackson - Pruitt. His siblings, Karen Burkins and Jonathan Pruitt, also survive him. Each of them will harbor in their hearts the special moments they shared with Robert.

He now joins in eternal rest his father, Robert Pruitt Sr., his mother, Kathy Pruitt, his grandmother Betty,  his uncle, Benjamin Pruitt, and uncle David Pruitt, as well as his cousins son, Davante Pruitt, who preceded him in death. We take comfort in the knowledge that Robert is reunited with them, finding peace in the realm beyond.

Robert Jr. will be profoundly missed. His memory will continue to live on in those who loved him, for he has left an indelible mark on all our hearts, shaping us into the individuals we are today. As we mourn his departure, we also celebrate the life he led, and the love he shared with all of us.

May his soul rest in peace and may his inspiring legacy continue to guide us throughout our lives.
