Robert's obituary
Bob was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, brother, son in law and a cherished friend. Bob was a man of infectious laughter. He could make his family and friends laugh so hard. He loved to watch football, especially the Detroit Lions, cook, listen to music and spend time with his family and friends.
Bob was born in Flint, Michigan on November 2, 1967 to the late Robert Ponsetto Sr. and Dianne Trinkle. He graduated from Bentley High School in Burton, Michigan in 1986. Bob married Julie, his love of his life on July 16, 2017. He retired from Meijer after working there for twenty three years.
Bob is survived by his wife, Julie, his son Austin (Savannah) Ponsetto, his daughter Alivia (Chad) Vukelich, his stepdaughter Maggie ( Andy) Andersen, his sister Kimberly Bennett, his grandchildren Benjamin Andersen, his granddaughter Penelope Ponsetto, his granddaughter Parklyn Ponsetto, and other family members, mother in law, sister in law, niece, nephews, aunts and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Robert Ponsetto Sr. and Dianne Trinkle.
A memorial service will be held at Hillside Church located at 1116 W. Hill Rd. Flint, Mi. 48507 on July 26,2025 at 1:00 p.m.
