Today is birthday! 2 years passed by already!Every morning I wake up and hope it was all a bad dream.Then remember that you’re truly gone and I’m alone. I don’t need a special day to bring you to my mind but today me and Claudia will celebrate your birthday! Our hearts still aches with sadness! We shared our lives together for 20 years and made lifetime memories! Now you are only a memory but this memories always will be part of me!!!

My deepest condolences to Claudia and Luba. Today was a sad day as my friend of 54 years was put to rest. I will miss our conversation about the old country and sports and just life in general. Time goes by so quickly and I valued the time we spent together growing up. You will be missed rest in peace dear friend.

Robert and I worked together for 10 years at Nidec Shimpo. He went out of his way on his own time to drop off assemblies at a machine shop and pick them up when they were completed. He liked talking about all the great rock concerts he went to and had a love for music. Robert would also tell me about the success of his daughter at school and her trip to Europe, always with a proud smile on his face. He was a kind, generous man and a great guy to work with.

Robert was a true gem of a person, co-worker, friend and neighbor. His infectious smile and frequent hum of a tune would lighten the mood on a dismal day. He was always their to listen, be supportive and wasn't quick to judge.
During his time at Nidec/ Shimpo, I enjoyed our lunchtime walks around Nestlé and the complex pond in Itasca. I have fond memories of us barely escaping a 100+ year old willow tree crashing down nearly 20 feet in front of us. Needless to say, we both bought lotto tickets that same day just to see if that near miss made us extra lucky.
Robert undoubtedly loved his daughter and was extremely proud of her and her accomplishments. Any chance he could get, he would mention what she was up to. His love for his two dogs, Sparky and Frankie were apparent along with his vast knowledge of music.
I am fortunate to have known him and have spent time getting to know what a truly wonderful person he was. The warm Italian greeting and fond memories we have will live on forever. Farewell, my friend, until we meet again.

Robert - To say you will be missed might be one of the biggest understatements in history. I will always remember you for being the one person (other then Yoli) who always asked me how I was doing and shared a story with. While I only worked with you for a few short years you found a place in my heart. I will always remember you and thank you for all you did to support me as I was trying to learn what the heck I was doing...Rest in Peace

My condolences to the family. Robert was an awesome person with a big heart. He would always talk to me about is daughter, Claudia. How proud he was of her. We would exchange stories him about is daughter and me about my granddaughter. How great they are doing in the university. You will be miss by many people, especially your friends at Shimpo. Oh Uncle Robert, how you will be missed. May you rest in paradise, smiling nonstop, telling endless stories about your days, and eating all the delicious food your heart desires.
