Celebrating the Life of Robert Patten

Bob left this world on 12/3/2023 in the loving care of the Providers at Assisted Hospice and the staff at the Cottage Inn in Ventura, California.

Bob was born on February 22, 1942. He lived his beliefs from peace marches to giving generously to charities. He lived in Ventura over 30 years and was a retired employee of Ventura County Medical Center.

He loved gardening, chess, the Oregon Ducks, a good conversation or debate and ocean fishing. The ocean called to him and he was always happiest when he lived close enough to hear the waves.

He overcame and conquered many life challenges and lived life on his terms.He had a deep connection to his spiritual beliefs.

He was well loved by many and will be very missed.

He is pre-deceased by two wives, Paula Dawson and Lori Les’Esperance as well as one daughter Dana Sue Patten. Those he left behind are his oldest daughter Sheri Brown and her husband Doug, two grandchildren Corey Hense and his wife Dariane Hense and one Great Grandchild- Clayton. A granddaughter, Kimberly Martinez and her husband Gregg. Cousins, Dan and Charles Corp and Karen Newbury and a step daughter Paula Cutri.

Private Scattering of remains of life will be held May 31st through the Neptune Society at sunset.
