Robert Dean Owens Jr., age 62, a Caney, OK resident, was born on Monday, December 22, 1958, to Robert Dean and Annabelle Marville (Fleming) Owens Sr., at Borger, TX.
Robert passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Chouteau, OK. He attended Panhandle Texas, graduated from Cap Rock High School in Amarillo, TX and went on to attend a trade school and learned welding. Robert was a laborer and worked a number of years for Iowa Beef in Amarillo, TX.
He was Pentecostal Holiness, attended Ada Baptist Temple in Ada, OK, loved to read, riding motorcycles, bringing in homeless people and giving them a helping hand, loved playing horseshoes.
Robert is survived by his siblings, Earl Ray Owens and wife Starla of Fritch, TX, Deania Brewer and husband Harold of Caney, OK, Kathy Gallogos of Amarillo, TX, Carl Owens and wife Mary of Cameron, TX; aunt, Pat Slyter of Borger, TX; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Dean and Annabelle Marville (Fleming) Owens Sr.; brother in law, Joel Gallogos.
