Robert Neel Jr., age 49, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on February 16, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was the husband of Jennifer Neel. They shared 26 years of marriage together and had two daughters, Mia and Ami Neel.

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was the son of Robert Neel Sr. and Durenda “Vickie” Neel. He graduated from S. H. Rider High School in 1992. He also attended ATI Career Training Center and received his certificate in Automotive Technology in 2009.

Robert enjoyed multiple hobbies during his life. He competed and won in many BMX races at a young age. He also started skateboarding in his teen years, going so far as to build his own half-pipe in his backyard. He learned he had a great passion for music and playing guitar, jamming with several great bands over the years and making a lot of good friends along the way. He also enjoyed cooking and grilling, as well as fishing and spending time with family, friends, and his beloved cat, Sophie.

He is survived by his father, Robert Neel Sr.; his mother, Durenda “Vickie” Neel. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jennifer Neel; his daughter Mia Neel; his daughter Ami Neel. He is survived by his sister, Victoria O’Neal and husband James; sister Bobbi Layfield and husband Archie; his niece Cassandra Owen and husband Ryan; his nephew Nicolas Kiser; his niece Madison Kiser; his beloved cat, Sophie; and numerous cousins, grandnieces and nephews, and good friends. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, his cousin Cindy Keen; his aunt, Patti Johnson; his uncle Jackie Ottaway; his aunt Priscella Focken; lifelong friend, Sean Humphrey; and lifelong friend, Don Fabela.

A celebration of life will be held at Pavilion 1 in Lucy Park on April 27, 2024, at 3pm.
