Robert's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Moritz, a beloved brother, husband,Grandpa,friend and an enthusiast of life. Robert, known fondly as Bob to his friends, passed away on July 6, 2025. Born on January 7, 1961, Robert brought joy, laughter and a memorable presence to the lives of all who had the pleasure to know him. Bobs unmistakable presence will continue to be felt in their lives, his memory woven into the stories they share. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Father Joseph Moritz and Mother June Moritz, who welcomed their cherished son into the world and nurtured the man he would become.
Robert was a man of simple, yet distinct tastes. He had a particular fondness for Taco Bell. His love for The Beatles permeated his life, their tunes serving as the soundtrack for his many adventures. He often found himself engrossed in episodes of Bonanza and Gilligan's Island, their narratives providing a welcome respite and entertainment. When it came to sports, Robert was a fervent supporter of the Cleveland Browns, his spirits buoyed by their victories and undeterred by their losses.
Robert's recreational pursuits reflected his love for the great outdoors. He found peace and satisfaction in fishing, an activity he often indulged in during his free time. Fitness also held a special place in his heart; lifting weights served as his preferred form of exercise. His favorite vacation spot was Myrtle Beach, a locale that signified relaxation and the simple pleasures of life. Baby blue was his favorite color, its calm hue reflecting the tranquility and serenity he found in his favorite pastimes.
Robert's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him. His memory, however, lives on in the laughter, the shared meals, the songs, and the stories. May we find comfort in remembrance and solace in our shared grief. Rest in peace, Robert Moritz.
