Robert M. Rose, Jr. — affectionately known as Bob to his friends and “Papa” to his grandchildren — was born on September 25, 1952, in Lawrence, Kansas, to Mary Joan Ramsey and Robert Millard Rose, Sr. He passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, in Goodyear, Arizona, at the age of 73, following an illness with pneumonia and the effects of Sundowner’s dementia.
