Robert McKinney JR., 72, of Youngsville, LA, passed away on December 29, 2022 after battling cancer.

Robert was born on January 1, 1950 to Arnita Margaret Nash and Robert Dunning McKinney Sr. in Homer, La. After retiring from Cintas after many years, Robert enjoyed golfing, garage sales, and spent most weekends helping at The Pinhook Flea Market in Lafayette.

His ashes will be placed with his life partner, Mary Joyce Newgebaver Dugas at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville.   

Survivors include his daughter Christina Newgebaver; and two grandchildren, Derek Lee and Thomas Dugas.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Arnita Margaret Nash McKinney and Robert Dunning McKinney; his life partner, Mary Joyce Newgebaver Dugas; and his grandson, Chad Allen Dugas.
