My heart and prayers go out to you and the family. Bob was a great example of how to pay it forward. His insatiable thirst for knowledge and willingness to share and teach so many students and people throughout his lifetime will be greatly missed. He taught me the importance of staying active, as it is a key for long life. Active being physically, by his love for sports (of course, Go Beavs), running, racquetball, or playing volleyball at family events. But to also be active in the mind as well, Bob was quite the avid debater and loved a good discussion, even if you didn't see eye-to-eye on the subject. And when it came to playing card games, he usually was the master sitting at the table teaching you. He was one of the best Hearts and Pinochle players I have ever known! I will always cherish my time and experiences I had with Bob; he will truly be missed.
