Bob was a true friend and a joy to work with. I met him when he came to work in the fleet section of the Garber AutoMall. Bob was well respected by every one of the other driver. I made a number of trips where it was only he and I. He was a great conversationalist on those terms. In the van on the return trip he was always the quiet one in the back. I found we had a lot in common, especially when it came to our stand on Jesus Christ and our churches. He never spoke bad of anyone. I found it interesting he had at one time been the General Manager of a dealership himself, and he enjoyed driving the vehicles rather than being in the sales force. He was very dependable. He answered the phone and went where ever I sent him without complaint. I wish I had 10 more like him. He would get up early, go take his chemo treatment and come driver afterward. I was amazed to see he never showed any signs of sickness from the treatment. He will be missed greatly. His family will miss him the most, but rest assured he is in heaven and he will be waiting for all who believe in God to make the same trip at our appointed time.
