My memory of Bob was about 50 yrs ago playing VB against him and then with him at Burnside Elementary. He was a good blocker and a power spiker. My sister Pat was our stats keeper and started dating Bob at this time. As a protective older brother I was leery of him at the time. We grew very close over the years and he was no longer just a brother-in-law but a brother. He was one of the few people I had known that you could take for his word. His love and protection of family was unquestionable. He was a tough as nails Marine on one hand, but who also possessed a great big heart.
Ellen and I miss you greatly.
With all our heart,
Frank and Ellen Defusco
Bob always made me feel like family. His smile and open arms will be remembered with a happy heart.
Sending prayers to Pat and family.
While there is no way we can feel your pain, we do feel your loss as we have known Uncle Bob for many years. Peace and love to you and your family during this sorrowful time.
-Love Bill and Jim
