There have been some very heartwarming posts on the various Facebook pages. We appreciate all the posts. Here are a few things said about Bob from people in Slayton, MN:
Wendy Steffen: I was Bob’s administrative assistant when he worked in Slayton. He never “stood still” but was always on the move to better the community. At times I couldn’t “keep up” with him, but he was always very patient, kind and full of fun. Jane was a sweetheart as well. My deepest sympathy to all of Bob’s family at this difficult time.
Kate Harmsen: Deepest sympathies to the Klingle family! I remember fondly his advocacy for the Slayton area when he lived here!
Lynn Johnson: Sympathy to his family. I remember Bob and my mom going head to head on a few issues and trying to solve the world problems. So sorry for your loss.
Kim Konkol: Our sympathy in the loss of Bob! I always enjoyed visiting with them! If I remember correctly—Bob was responsible for bringing Ethnic Days to Murray County!
Linda Elizabeth Wing: My sympathy to the family. I knew Bob and Jane, and they were both assets to our community.
Karen Tommeraasen: I thought so much of Bob & learned so much from him, at the Extension Office.
Connie Winter: They lived directly across the street from me. He was always busy and practically running always on the move. Did a lot of good things for Slayton.
