Robert's obituary

Robert Kingston, 77, of South Africa, passed away on May 09, 2007 after complications from Parkinson’s disease.

Robert was born on January 03, 1930 to Russell Kingston and Danielle B in Scotland. After graduating from high school, he took an apprentice job with his father's friend at a wood furniture factory. Seeking new opportunities, Robert moved to London, where he eventually met his future wife, Mary Anne.

Robert and Mary met a church meet and married after 3 months. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience. They raised four children, Ethan, Maxine, Jolyn and Kellie, and shared a deep love for farming, animals and gardening. Throughout his life, Robert remained a devoted husband, father and grandfather, always offering kindness, wisdom, and a steady presence to those around him.

Despite his battle with Parkinson’s, Robert faced each day with strength and dignity, inspiring all who knew him. His legacy of perseverance, love, and humor will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

The family requests that donations be made to Parkinson’s research.

In the words of our grandfather, "you do good, you get good, it all comes back to you." Rest well grandpa.
