Robert's obituary
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Robert W. Carre, III, a beacon of kindness, love, and humor. Robert was born on August 24, 1971, and passed away suddenly on October 29, 2023. His life was a testament to love and acceptance, and he left behind a legacy filled with beautiful memories.
Robert will live on in the hearts of his beloved children, Brianna Carre, Robert Carre, IIII and Ashley Chafin, his Father Robert W. Carre, Jr., mother of his children, Teresa Chafin, grandchildren: Coral, Donovan and Delilah and extended family. Every conversation, every shared smile, and every word of advice he offered will forever be cherished. Robert's love for his family was boundless, and he considered his children and grandchildren his greatest accomplishments.
A man who loved everyone without prejudice, Robert taught everyone around him the value of acceptance and support. He was a man who looked beyond backgrounds and believed in the inherent good in people. His laughter filled rooms, and his humor could bring a smile to anyone's face. The joy he brought to every individual he met was infectious, making him a man dearly loved and sorely missed.
To commemorate his life, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on November 18, 2023, at Walker Chapel, 1824 Mountain Rd. We invite all who knew and loved Robert to join us in celebrating his exceptional life and the love he spread. A small gathering will be held afterwards, details to be shared at the Memorial.
