It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Hummel on May 12, 2025. Born on October 17, 1950, Bob lived a life full of vigor and enthusiasm. His warm presence and friendly nature will forever be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Bob served his country with honor and dedication. His time in the military reflected a deep sense of duty that remained with him throughout his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his children: Kristine, Carolyn, Melissa, Kathleen, Andy, Jessica, and Anna Grace.

His legacy continues through his grandchildren—Keegan, Lincoln, Dominic, Juliana, Elizabeth, Jackie, Charlie, Jackson, Mason, Joseph, Aleisia, Ashlee, Jacob, Isabella, David, and Evan

-and great-grandchildren: Aliyah, Stella, Jack, Estelle, and William.

He now rests alongside his beloved daughter Bethie; his parents Joseph and Elizabeth; and his brother Joseph.

Bob will find his forever resting place with his daughter, Elizabeth “Bethie” Hummel, in Mobile, Alabama.

Bob’s passing is a tremendous loss not only to his family but to everyone who was blessed to have known him.

As we bid farewell to Bob, we remember him not with sadness, but with the joy, laughter, and love he brought into our lives. His legacy will live on in our hearts and memories.

May his soul rest in peace and may his spirit continue to inspire those who were touched by his love, kindness and humor.
