Background
Bobby Hendricks was a man who lived for others - he doted on his wife, Sylvia, celebrated his daughters Emily and Lydia, and bragged to any who would listen about the accomplishments of his sons-in-law, nephews, niece, and grandchildren as if he had raised them himself. His generous heart had no limits, and he loved and gave of himself without reserve.
In lieu of flowers, he would have asked that those who wished to give in his memory would also consider his family first. He was aware of the medical costs associated with Schaaf-Yang Syndrome, and donated funds to his niece’s family. He did not see this as charity, but as the natural efforts one would put forth for the next generation. Schaaf-Yang is a newly discovered and rare condition, and still needs advocacy and years of research. Donations collected through this fund will assist with the care and progress of someone that Bobby loves.
We have chosen this memorial fund service that takes no platform fees, and established a direct path for giving back to Bobby’s family in his name. Contribute
