With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Robert "Bobby" Hastie, a devoted father, cherished grandfather, and esteemed veteran. Born on January 25, 1951, in Watertown, MA, Bobby spent his formative years in the embrace of his beloved hometown.
In 1970, Bobby answered the call of duty and joined the US Air Force, where he proudly served his country with honor and distinction. Following his military service, Bobby pursued a career as a machinist, showcasing his precision and skill in every endeavor he undertook.
An avid sports enthusiast, Bobby found immense joy in cheering on his beloved New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. His loyalty and passion for these teams were unwavering, brightening many a game day with his infectious spirit.
Bobby will forever be remembered and dearly missed by his daughter Shellie Froment and her wife Melissa Froment, stepdaughters Kim Rabbitt, Lisa Jurgilewicz and her husband Andrew Jurgilewicz, grandson Joshua Tennant and several step-grandchildren. In the hearts of his loved ones, Bobby's warmth, humor, and steadfast presence will continue to resonate, guiding them through the days ahead.
