I started kindergarten with Bob at Wilson Elementary School in North Arlington. We were good friends as we lived on the same street. Devon Steet. Knew his brother Rich. Very sad when he moved. Lost touch but never lost the memories of good times and what a great friend Bob was. I was very sad to hear of his passing a few years back and it's about time I said so. He was truly a good person.
Heartbreaking š had plans and hoped to see Bob and meet Joan this summer. Ā A very special Ā friend for us in Germany. Ā Regret so much that we were never able to get together after,Ā
Much belated but heartfelt condolences on the loss of this dear man.Ā I had the privilege of interviewing Bob several years ago for the Kansas Voices of the Vietnam War oral history project. I was struck by his warmth, honesty, and sense of humor.Ā Ā I'm so honored that he shared his story with me and so glad that our paths crossed.
Joan and family, I am so saddened to read that Bob passed away. Kinda lost track of you guys when you moved to Texas. He was such a wonderful fun guy and I so enjoyed working with him at LMH. Take care Joan. My thoughts and prayers are with you.Ā
