Robert Clarence Harden III, 68, of Gaston, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Muncie.

Bobby was born on August 12, 1956, in Logan, WV to the late Robert C. Harden II and Mildred M. Harden.

Bobby worked as a sandman in the steel mill industry for many years. Bobby was also a certified radio technician, he throughly enjoyed CB radios, fishing, playing guitars, and collecting antiques and things alike. Back in his day he knew his way under the hood of a car, he could recite a song or story to you like it was yesterday. He also loved a good conspiracy theory! 

Everyone loved Bobby Harden. He was a good friend to everyone he met. 

Bobby is survived by his wife, Betty Harden; his seven children, Bob Harden (Jill), Jada Moss (Robert), Joseph Harden (Elise), Jarron Harden (Tess), Matthew Harden (Victoria), Crystal Gordon (Bryan), Ashley Harden (Jacob), and Lacey Young (Kasey) who he often referred to as a daughter. 

He also leave behind a godson, Brandon Lagle (Randy); his four siblings, Brian Harden (Lori), Caroline Winfrey, Brenda Jones, and Brett Harden; 15 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
