When I was born, my Mom told me my big brother, Bobby, went knocking on all the neighbor’s doors asking if anyone wanted a baby sister because he just got one; He was waiting for a baby brother. I’m thankful he didn’t find any takers because my brother also became one of my closest friends. If your reading this he was probably special to you as well. If so, this sentiment he expressed to me was possibly for you. We were talking about fully living out your life’s purpose. He mentioned how he had witnessed when opportunities presented themselves and tried he to be faithful in all things, but there were people he cared about that he wanted to know he’d see again in heaven and they just weren’t receptive of Christ when he shared salvation with them. I reminded him that some are meant to plant seeds and others do the harvesting. But he knew his time was short and it was a concern for him to leave this world and possibly not see these people in heaven one day. If you don’t know Jesus as your Personal savior, please think about your past conversations with Bob so you won’t think of his funeral as good bye, but I’ll see you again when the Lord decides to call me home.
