LTC Robert Garrett (US Army Retired)

On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, Robert Paul Garrett, devoted and intensely beloved husband of Jo Jensen, transitioned from this world at the age of eighty-three. Bob was born in Del Rio, Texas to Olean and Andrew Garrett. After graduating from Del Rio high school, he attended Texas A & M University for one year before receiving an appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Along with his …

Personal note

Thank you to everyone who sent cards and texts and photos, made phone calls, sat with Jo at the hospital and at home afterwards, offered a place for respite, watched over our pets, Winston and Ebony, and continue to offer emotional support at this heart-breaking time.

Bob was the type of person we all aspire to be one day...he made the world a kinder place.

Bob expressed his wish to be cremated and inurned at his alma mater, The US Military Academy at West Point. The ceremony at West Point will take place in the future. You will all be with us in spirit!
