Robert J. Fowler 83, of Ocala,Fl. formally of Redfield,N.Y. passed away Saturday, November 4th, 2017 in MRMC Hospital with his family by his side.

Born April 3, 1934 in Lorraine, New York to Floyd and Genevieve Powers Fowler. He graduated from Adams High School in 1951.

On August 7, 1954 he married Phyllis Wood in Lorraine, New York.

Besides his wife Bob is survived by 4 children, Kenneth (companion Barbara), Silver Springs,Fl  Linda (Troy) Simmons, Summerfield, Fl,  Kurt(Kim) Rock Island, Washington, Laureen (Rodney) Bertram, Hammond, NY, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. His sister, Irene Erickson, Lorraine, New York,  brothers Perry (companion Pat) Woodville, New York, Karl (Pam) Henderson, New York. He was predeceased by his parents and 3 brothers Clarence, Floyd, Ivan and his sister Barbara.

Bob worked at Dobbins Auto in his earlier years. He owned and operated the family farm in LaFargeville, New York for several years. He retired as a welder in Syracuse, New York.

Bob enjoyed gardening, canning, hunting, fishing and playing cards. He was a member of the NRA.
