Background
Like the shirt says, most of his friends were dogs. He knew all the names of the neighborhood dogs. I had to train him to introduce himself to the humans before he met their dogs.
Bob learned about Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary when we moved to Tennessee. He followed them on social media and we paid a visit to see their facility in Mt. Juliet. We were there for the Senior Dog Parade when they brought the dogs to their brand new location in June of 2021.
Bob was a long-time donor and hoped to someday foster a senior dog or two. He would love it if you made a donation in his memory.
If you prefer, one of the last things Bob talked about was "Grooving for St. Jude" on a Carnival Cruise. Carnival has a dance party on/or about the last day of a cruise. Bob handled his cancer diagnosis with faith, hope, and love, but he was already grown. He seemed bothered to think about childhood cancer and wanted to raise money for their cause.
