It is with deep sorrow that we announce the heartbreaking and sudden loss of Robert at his home in Toronto, Ontario on Tuesday, July 4th 2023 at the age of 77. Born in Welland, Ontario to John Ewasiuk and Thelma Barry. He was a loving son to his parents John and Thelma. Married to Janice Barry on July 26th 1975. They were married just shy of 48 years at his passing.

He was a loving, devoted, and amazing father to Bob and Kelly (Kevin) Barry. He was a loving and wonderful grandfather to his grandson, Michael Barry. His grandson Michael was his pride and joy. His family was his world, and he would do anything and everything for them. He was fiercely loyal and protective of his family.

He worked for many years from the age of 14 until 70. He was thankfully able to spend his last 7 years in retirement enjoying his family. He worked for many years as a truck driver and bus driver. He was a very hard working and devoted employee.

He is survived by his sister Karen Brault and Peter Barry. He had a good and loving relationship with his brother and sister.

Robert loved the Toronto Blue Jays, Wrestling, Boxing and watching TV.

He was a honest, loyal, good, intelligent, patient man with a good sense of humour. He will be terribly missed by all his family. We feel very grateful and fortunate to have had him in our lives for as long as we did. He was a very special husband, father and grandfather. We will never forget him. He will be in our hearts and thoughts forever.
