ROBERT RAY ESCUE
March 17, 1988 – January 17, 2022

It is with great sorrow I notify you of My Son’s Passing. Robert died quietly at his residence,in Long Beach, in the early morning hours, January 17, 2022 Cause of death, is unknown at this time. Robert was single and had no children. He was only 33 years old, and the youngest of five children. Survived by his older brother, Michael Escue, three half- sisters; April Alves-Charles, both of Long Beach, Seresa Escue-Chase of Apple Valley, an Heidi Escue-Boyle, of Virginia Beach, West Virginia, his mother Linda Escue, and Step-father, Larry McInnis of Long Beach. Robert was a California Native. Born an raised in the Long Beach area Attended Monroe Elementary, Bancroft Middle School, Graduated from Lakewood High School, Class of 2006. Robert made the Honor Roll at Long Beach City College and received his Associate Degree, with a focus in Architecture. While attending college he worked at “Granite Transformations” in Signal Hill. He started working at “Old Ranch Country Club” in Seal Beach, “Club Corp Country Club” now. He worked 12 years as a Server, Bartender, for Special Events, Golf Events, Banquets. He was only 20 when he started. Robert was very outgoing, social and loved working at the country club’s spectacular events, good food, drinks, and lots of excitement.
His cause of death is currently unknown, UN-determined at time of autopsy requiring further investigation by the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office. He was struggling with stress, high anxiety, and social isolation over the past 1 ½- 2 years since the start of the Corona Virus Pandemic, when he was sent home from work /laid off, as restaurants and Bars were all ordered to close, due to CVP, and Stay at Home orders. He was comfortable with his job and resisted change. He was uncertain of his future,
Robert will be laid to rest, next to his father, Bobby Ray Escue, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Cypress, CA, on Monday February 28, 2022, at 2:30 pm. This is a Traditional grave-site service, or Funeral. Viewing is same day from 12 noon -2:00 pm . Lakewood High School, Class of 2006, come say your final good-bye to Robert.
