Bobby's obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert "Bobby" Neff, who departed from this world on December 28, 2025. Born on June 26, 1951, in Charleston, SC, Bobby spent his early years in Southern California where his passion for cars and motorcycle riding grew. After moving to Casa Grande, AZ, he continued to dedicate his free time to restoring and showing classic cars, and riding through the saguaro cactus-filled desert of Arizona.
A hard-working, dedicated individual, his hands were never idle. By day he worked and trained others as a master carpenter, building commercial and residential kitchens and more. Most of his spare time was spent in his beloved garage, where classic Western shows and movies were played on loop, and where he always at least a couple of automotive projects going. His resilience and love for these hobbies were evident in the manner in which he engaged in them, and part of his legacy are fruits of his labor: his hand crafted cabinets and the classic cars still on the road because of his love for restoration.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sherry Neff, who has been his lifelong partner, friend, and confidante. Their relationship was a testament of love, an unshakable bond. Bobby is also survived by his children, Mike Lingo of Chula Vista, CA, and April Willett of Apache Junction, AZ. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry their stories of their beloved Papa into the future.
In Bobby's memory, let us remember and celebrate his life. Drive or bike the backroads with a loved one, share stories of Bobby and those no longer with us, and hold your family close.
