Bob's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Robert Edmond Coleman. He was 81. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. With Sandy by his side, Bob passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024. His memory, though, will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was a devoted husband to Sandy, with whom he shared many wonderful years of love and companionship. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and mutual support. Mom was the light of Dad’s life, and their story was an inspiration to all who knew them.
He was a proud and loving father to Mark and I. He instilled in us with his values of integrity, hard work, and kindness, always leading by example. He cherished the many special moments we had, supporting us in all of our endeavors and celebrating our successes.
As a grandfather, he found immeasurable pride and joy in his grandchildren. His grandsons, Tyler, Ryan, and Andrew, and his granddaughter, Ella, were the apples of his eye. ‘Pap’ took great pride in their many achievements, and his love was a guiding force in their lives. His playful spirit and boundless affection made him a cherished figure in all their hearts.
Our father was preceded in death by daughter Stephanie, whose memory our family has held dear. Her passing left a void, but solace was found in the love and support of his family.
Throughout his life, Dad touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. His legacy is one of love and compassion, and he will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the positive impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to HPH Hospice who took such kind care of him in his final days.
Finally, instead of sadness and tears, he would want every one who knew him to remember to always: “KEEP YOUR CHIN UP”
Jason and Mark
