It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Walker, who passed away on June 28, 2025. Born on January 17, 1960, Robert, as he was fondly known by friends and family, preferred the name Bob. He leaves a lasting legacy in his loved ones and the many lives he touched.
His loving wife, Paula Walker, survives Robert. They were united in marriage in 1996, a union of true hearts and minds that remained strong till the end. Beyond his wife, Robert also leaves behind his sons: David, Eric and Sam Walker. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he poured his love and time into helping them flourish.
Robert's academic journey was marked by perseverance and dedication. He graduated from George Rogers Clark High School, Whiting, Indiana, in 1978, before going on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Owensboro, KY, in 1999. This accomplishment was a testament to Robert's drive, commitment, and intellectual capabilities.
Entering the professional world, Robert started working at Horizon Recovery in 2000. His contributions to the organization and the positive influence he had on his colleagues speak volumes about his hard work and dedication.
Robert was more than his academic and professional accomplishments. He was a steadfast friend, an incredible father, and a devoted husband. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched and his legacy will continue through his loving family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
