Sorry to hear about Rob’s passing. He was one of the first people I became friends with at NC State. I won’t forget hitting the gym for a lift together and talking about sneakers while we built our resumes and prepped for mock interviews. Im proud to see all he had achieved since we were together last. We were two young men navigating a path to success in this world and seeing his success since our last encounter always brought joy. My sincerest condolences.

You are always on my mind. I feel like my heart is missing a piece of it. Like it was shaved off and struggling to keep pumping with the same force it had prior to your passing.

My thoughts range from how much I miss you to how much I need a Robert hug to how proud I have always been of you.

To very sad thoughts, the disbelief I still have, the anger of the circumstances. The sorrow in knowing I will never see you smile or hear your laugh in real life again...

I think about your life all of the time and try to be a little more like you - so open to new things, challenging yourself, constantly growing and living your best life.

My new motto to myself is, "Live like Robert"

Ricky and I were talking about how you are waiting for us in Heaven, joking how you'll be the all knowing, showing us where everything is at and how it works lol...

I love you with all of my heart and soul ♥️ and miss you so much it hurts.

Love Mom

Robert had the sweetest side …
Robert had the sweetest side to him. He knew I love sea glass so he collected some for me on one of his adventures to the South Korean coast. He took this pic to show me what he found, and then months later, remembered to bring them all the way to Oahu for our last Christmas together. I'm currently trying to get the little piece made into a ring. ❤️ — with Robert and Mom

One summer, when Robert and Ricky had practice for football, I took them home most days because Jenny was working. I worked REALLY hard to figure out their favorite Gatorade flavors and snacks. Every time I picked them up it was pretty quiet until I started asking question. Robert was definitely pickiest about his Gatorade flavor. Lol To be honest, that was one of my most favorite summers because I got the chance to really get to know Robert and Ricky on another level. I love them both so much. I sure do miss Robert, but boy was I one of the lucky ones to have him in my life.
