Hello , My name is Kaysi and I was a friend and Caregiver that worked with Bob everyday at Fieldstone. I had created a wonderful friendship through laughs and art . My youngest Daughter had received an art scholarship and attended the school VSA ( Vancouver School of Arts ,  and we loved sharing the love of art through talk and coffee in his room during mornings while talking about his pieces of art , his inspirations, military ( as my Son has served in the Army 82nd Airborne division, ) and  his cat Lilly , and services that  I may provide for that day through care . I always loved visiting Bob and Lilly . She greeted me at the door, and we always laughed trying to get her back into the room after Bob would leave his room and Lilly would head down the hall as to join him . She was always by his side . As Bob became iller , and could no longer care for Lilly , Bob had asked me one day if I would like to take Lilly home with me ? He said that he knew how much I loved her and wanted her to go to a good home . I told him that I would love to , and I made a promise to him that she would have her forever home with us . I wanted to post a small story about how me and Bob met , and the beauty of art , military and animals that brings two people together . I thought it would be neat to share the beauty of caregiving , and how caregiving can enrich the lives of those cared for , and those who care .
